The weekend of Aug 13-14 is officially a holiday weekend for shoppers looking for a deal.
Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick signed a bill Monday creating another sales tax holiday in Massachusetts in hopes to boost sales during a slow time of year. The tax holiday will shelve the 6.25 percent levy on most items selling for less than $2,500.
According to the Boston Herald, since 2004, the Legislature has approved a two-day tax holiday every year except 2009, saving shoppers a total of $93 million.
Next weekend is the perfect time to come over to B&D House of Carpets in Burlington, MA to buy Area Rugs, Carpeting, Ceramic/Porcelain, Cleaning/Restoration, Flooring Accessories, Laminate Floors, Specialty Floors, Vinyl/Resilient, Wood Flooring, and more!
